We Just Want To Dream

Ive been home from the December Cloud Rat tour for over a month now. We have even done a weekend sense then. I have not done any of the things I set out to do on my return. I have not taken care of myself, I have not made my life better and obviously have not updated this compost pile underneath a rotting corpse of a blog either.

Still plan on posting stuff. Old recordings and photos and things. Don't have a computer right now, this is the first time I have touched one sense last post. That will change soon.

For whatever reason things always seem to fall apart on our return from tour. Maybe because cloud rat tours are so good and positive, and home can be, well, not that.
Things are coming around however.


Old Soul-...who are willing to draw close (part two of two) is nearly complete. which is good.

Cloud rat is recording as well. I just did about 17 drums tracks last night. ouch. I think it will be our best stuff yet.
I leave for old soul tour next month on the first, and cloud rat tour as soon as I get back. I guess its what ive always wanted. To be consumed with music.

well, I will go finish my bourbon with my chaser...of bourbon, and smoke my pipe as I look out into the ever blistering frost as it slams me in the face. Then fall asleep with my baby...

dug up some old pictures with friends...haha. Its good to remember you're not all alone from time to time. Even if it does feel that way, most of the time. so, Don't forget about the people that make you smile.

I have not put anything up here in over a year. I have plenty of projects and art and stories but for whatever reason I just stopped caring about having it out there. Maybe I thought no one was looking anyway.
Not sure.

Regardless, I am nearing the end of a Cloud Rat tour. Its been so amazing, like all our tours seems to be. We have been out for 16 days think. 6 days with THOU, and FALSE. If you dont know those bands, please go find them, listen, or watch. Its being with inspiring musicians/people like this that keeps me going. Maybe i will write a tour log when i get home. Or at least photos and funny stories. I dont know.

Anyway, im typing in a dark room with a sleeping sock and snoring Rorik.

I think im going to start using this again, even if I am correct in thinking no one knows, looks, or cares what I put here.

Im going to try to post all the things that have came to be in the past year on my somewhat sad and unwanted return to Michigan. My home.

I WILL put the quietus EP up here when i get home. Its been covered in dust for far too long. I miss it.

What else...random art projects, thoughts, photos, writtings, skate stuff, all that shit. Im sure there are plenty of things i can dig out. Maybe put some lost arts up here. Vault fifteen. I miss that too.

I must keep close to these things I love, or I will end up staying miserable.
These are the things that keep me alive.

no post.

I have been super busy lately, and no one really reads this, i think. I figured it was time to start putting some more stuff up. I have a lot...

as for new things, The Cloud Rat/Xtra vomit tape is going to be released as a 12 inch:) with a few more songs added. Its going really well, its really the most relaxed, stress free band Ive ever been a part of.

Also, Ive started playing guitar for Under Anchor, actually really happy to be a part of.

Quietus tour, along with the release of the album that has been collecting dust.

Old Soul will be doing an album...sometime. With a new guitar player by the name of jimmy(as if we weren't in enough bands together as it is. I'm in love with these songs.

Will be releasing some solo electronic stuff, beats and things, and a jam with HEB.

I'm very happy at the moment. Its a strange feeling for me. WILL be posting more stufffffffff sooooon.

I left a lot of their parts untouched other then some harsh EQ stuff. I ended up digging it way more than I anticipated. So some parts I just had to leave alone, for the most part anyway. Still plenty of noise by me.
